Digital Family Shield (“DFS”) provides privacy education, privacy exposure discovery, public-source research, data broker removal assistance, and privacy support. Information on this website and in DFS materials is provided for general informational and educational purposes.

No Guarantee of Complete Discovery

The internet, public records, search indexes, data brokers, breach resources, and people-search sites change continuously. A DFS scan reviews selected sources and cannot establish that personal information does or does not exist everywhere. A “not found” result means that during our review we did not identify matching public exposure in the sources searched; it does not guarantee that no exposure exists elsewhere.

Identity and Accuracy

Public-source information may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, duplicated, or associated with a different person. Search-engine summaries, automated suggestions, and similar indicators are not treated by DFS as proof of identity or exposure. Human verification is used before information is promoted as a finding, but errors can still occur.

No Guarantee of Removal

DFS may help identify removal options and assist with opt-out or deletion requests. We cannot guarantee that a third party will remove information, how quickly it will respond, that a removal will be permanent, or that the same information will not later appear from another source.
